We are proud to announce that our new app, called MoPress Widget, will be soon available in the ovi store.
The MoPress widget built by Danais uses the wordpress API to perform the following actions:
- moderating comments
- reply to comment
- will notify you when new comments are available in your blogs
- Send a simple post to your blog
There is a sample video of the app running on the Nokia N97
MoPress Widget is currently compatible with S60 5th edition and S60 3rd edition FP2 devices (note: also some S60 3rd edition FP1 devices, via firmware upgrades, support Web Runtime widgets).
MoPress widget is designed for the 240 x 320 (QVGA) and the 360 x 640 (nHD) screen size.
The nHD devices support touch, and therefore all buttons, text boxes, and other screen controls must be bigger so that users can use fingers or a stylus to select them.
On QVGA screens, screen controls can be smaller, because users use the five way navigation pad to move between them.
On some S60 5th Edition devices, such as the Nokia N97, users can add the mopress widget to the home screen.
When in home screen the widget has a simple screen and notifies you when new comments are available in your blogs.

MoPress 0.3.5 for BlackBerry Devices is live now!
This version is designed to work with any BlackBerry, with device software version 4.3 and later, with the same features already present in MoPress for J2ME devices.
Just point your BlackBerry browser to download page.

As We said in this blog we’ve been working on creating an Open Source WordPress for Blackberry application with guys from Automattic, who Lead the WordPress project.
First beta release is now available …

MoPress release 0.3.5 is out now.
We have changed the app color scheme, consistent with the Blackberry for Wordpress app, no new feature were added.
This release works well on MIDP1.0/CDCL1.0 phones.
